Hey there! My name is Ashley Long and I had jaw surgery on July 22, 2005. I decided to get a website together with post op
pics and links and some stuff about my experience. It's hard to believe that I have had my jaw wired shut and have been living
off of liquids. The prospect of this scares some people who are going to have the surgery and I thought I could do something
to hopefully help calm their fears and provide insight into the surgery.
You'll find a link for a great group on yahoo dealing with orthognathic surgery and also a way to contact me later on in this
website. The yahoo group really is a great place for anyone who has questions about the surgery and is just looking for support
to get through the surgery.
